By default, Naon implements 3 USB interfaces:

  • USB0
    • internal connection: this port refers to USB0 interface integrated in DM8148 processor
    • speed: high
    • mode: OTG
    • signals: DP, DM, ID, VBUS, DRVVBUS
  • USB1
    • internal connection: this port refers to downport #1 of on-board hub; upstream port of hub is, in turn, connected to DM8148 USB1 port
    • speed: high
    • mode: host
    • signals: DP (hub), DM (hub), VBUS (DM8148), DRVVBUS (DM8148)
  • USB2
    • internal connection: this port refers to downport #2 of on-board hub; upstream port of hub is, in turn, connected to DM8148 USB1 port
    • speed: high
    • mode: host
    • signals: DP (hub), DM (hub), VBUS (DM8148), DRVVBUS (DM8148)

On request USB1 port of DM8148 can be routed externally, replacing on-board hub. In this case USB1 and USB2 ports mentioned above are replaced by this port:

  • USB1
    • internal connection: this port refers to USB1 interface integrated in DM8148 processor
    • speed: high
    • mode: host or device (mutually exclusive and selected by software)
    • signals: DP, DM, VBUS, DRVVBUS.
