Peripheral Security[edit | edit source]

The Security module available on AURA is based on i.MX93 SoC. The security functions to protect systems against physical and network attacks. Fine-grained key management capabilities are augmented by extensive crypto services for advanced attack resistance.

Description[edit | edit source]

The chip security system includes the following features:

  • Edgelock secure enclave as a hardware root of trust
  • Secure Boot: Advanced High Assurance Boot (AHAB) feature in the system boot
  • Secure Debug allows customers to securely develop and debug software during development or deployment in the field and Secure Life cycle Management
  • Crypto: On-the-fly decryption
  • Tamper Detection: Battery Backed Secure Module (BBSM) with Secure Real Time Clock
  • Trusted Resource domain controller (TRDC)
