MiniPCIe[edit | edit source]

The MiniPCIe connector supports an add-on providing 4G/LTE modem connectivity.

Description[edit | edit source]

The modem interface is available on the UNICA SBC at the J12 connector.

J12 is a miniPCIe standard connector (TE-1759546-1). This connector is dedicated to an LTE module commonly available on the market.

The modem peripheral is typically mapped to the corresponding /dev/ttyx device in Linux. The network peripheral is visible under the ifconfig network configuration utility.

Device usage[edit | edit source]

The peripheral uses the standard kernel interface and network protocol stack.
