Ethernet interface[edit | edit source]

RIALTO SBC has two Ethernet interfaces:

  • eth0 on J16 (labelled as Ethernet 1)
  • eth1 on J59 (labelled as Ethernet 2)

Description[edit | edit source]

The Ethernet interfaces are available at the connectors J16 and J59. Primary interface is on J16.

J16 and J59 are a RJ45 shielded connectors with link/activity led.

Ethernet 1 - J16 connector
Ethernet 2 - J59 connector

Device mapping[edit | edit source]

The network interfaces mapped as follows:

  • J16 is eth0 device in Linux.
  • J59 is eth1 device in Linux.

Device usage[edit | edit source]

The peripherals use the standard kernel interface and network protocol stack.
