Serial number is usually printed on a white plastic label, close to the bar code (see also the following pictures where they are highlighted by red ellipses).

Serial number identifies uniquely a board and it is composed by two parts:
*the last part is composed by four alphanumeric characters, representing a progressive counter in hexadecimal notation.
