From the functional standpoint the two ports are interchangeable with the exception of trace signals EMU0/1/2/3 that are not available on J17.

Two JTAG interfaces are provided by NaonEBV-Lite carrier board (J17 and J18).

J17 implements standard 20-pin 2.54mm-pitch ARM JTAG port. J18 implements 20-pin 1.27mm-pitch Texas Instruments JTAG port (aka 20-pin compact TI connector). From the functional standpoint the two ports are interchangeable with the exception of trace signals EMU0/1/2/3 that are not available on J17.
