In essence, the system consists of a high-frame-rate image sensor (*) shooting and a Linux-based embedded platform. The sensor frames a specific area of the line. The and sends the video frames captured by the sensors are addressed to a Linux-based embedded processing platform (also denoted as PP in the rest of the document) for further processing, as detailed in the following sections.
