The TPS659113 datasheet is TI Confidential and is subject to NDA Restrictions

IntroductionEdit

On Naon, Maya and Dido SoMs, the TPS659113 PMIC provides a real-time clock (RTC) resource with

  • Oscillator for 32.768-kHz crystal
  • Date, time and calendar
  • Alarm capability
  • Backup power from external battery

Backup power is provided through the VBAT (J2.16) signal. If not used, VBAT must be externally connected to GND.

InterruptEdit

The INT1 signal on the PMIC (default active low) warns the host processor of any event that has occurred on the TPS659113 device. The host processor can then poll the interrupt from the interrupt status register through I2C to identify the interrupt source.

Interrupt pinEdit

  • On Naon/Dido: the INT1 signal is connected to the G6 DM814x microprocessor ball, corresponding to the MCA[3]_ACLKX/GP0[16] pin
  • On Maya: the INT1 signal is connected to the Y23 DM814x microprocessor ball, corresponding to the VOUT[1]_G_Y_YC[3]/EMAC[1]_MRXD[6]/VIN[1]A_D[8]/PATA_D[0]/GP3[7] pin

Please refer to the DM814x Datasheet for more information on microprocessor pins.
