Power consumption[edit | edit source]
Power consumption may vary largely depending several factors such as operating system, user application software etc. For this reason it is actually impossible – and probably useless – to identify an actual worst case. Rather a consumption data is provided referring to an actual case that is very close to the majority of actual applications.
The consumption measurement refers to the following conditions:
- VIN = 3.3V
- Operating system: linux 2.6.32
- Root file system: Angstrom 2011.03, mounted via NFS
- NAND flash erase in progress
- LCD video output: 320x240 @ 60 Hz
Under these conditions, a power consumption of 1.5W has been measured.
