==RTC interface device == ''TBD: sostituire le sezioni con le informazioni sull'uso della periferica e del suo connettore''''Nell'esempio di seguito c'è la descrizione dell'interfaccia UART/console''
=== Description ===
There are two RTC devices on the Evaluation Kit, one is provided by the STM32MP1 SoC, the other is a Maxim DS3232M I2C device.
The Both RTC interface available on the Evaluation Kit at the connector ''TBDcan retain time and custom data over blackouts using a backup power source as:Jxxx''. ''Jxx'' is a ''TBD:connector-type'' header connector for * the RS232 two-wires UART3 port, used for debug purposes lithium rechargeable battery (bootloader and operating system serial consoleBT1)that is mounted on the carrier board.* an external battery connected to J3 (alternate mounting option to the battery)

===Signals ===
The following table describes the interface signalsfor J3:

=== Device mapping ===
UART3 RTC is mapped to
/dev/ttymxc2rtc0
device in Linux. The peripheral is used as the default serial console, both for the bootloader and the kernel.
=== Device usage ===
To connect to The peripheral can be accessed through the debug serial port: # connect the DB9 adapter bracket to the J22 connector on the SBCX board# connect a serial cable between DB9 connector
date
and PC COM port through a NULL-modem cable (not provided)# start your favorite terminal emulator software on PC (eg: PuTTY); communication parameters are: 115200,N,8,1
hwclock
linux commands.
