Naon is a ready-to-use CPU module family based on Texas Instruments DM814x (DaVinci) and AM387x (Sitara) Cortex-A8 high performance application processors. Maya is specifically designed for harsh environments and tiny spaces and is suitable for high-end applications such as medical instrumentation, digital signage, security systems and home automation.

Maya is the top product of DAVE Embedded Systems Lite Line CPU modules and is built with SO-DIMM 204-pin form factor.

  • ARM Cortex-A8 architecture @ up to 1 GHz
  • Up to 512 MB DDR2 SDRAM
  • HD Video Encoding/Decoding Capabilities (High-Definition Video Image Coprocessing – HDVICP v2 engine)
  • One HD Video input channel
  • C674x DSP engine (available on DM8148)
  • NEON Multimedia co-processor and PowerVR® SGX 530 Vector/3D Graphics Engine
  • On-board flash (NOR and NAND) storage
  • SO-DIMM 204 pin form factor
  • Rich interfaces set including dual CAN, dual Ethernet and native 3.3V I/O
