Maya is a ready-to-use CPU module family based on Texas Instruments DM814x (DaVinci) and AM387x (Sitara) Cortex-A8 high performance application processors. Maya is specifically designed for harsh environments and tiny spaces and is suitable for high-end applications such as medical instrumentation, digital signage, security systems and home automation.

Maya is the top product of DAVE Embedded Systems Lite Line CPU modules and is built with SO-DIMM 204-pin form factor.

Introduction[edit | edit source]

Mayais a ready-to-use SOM (System On Module) based on Texas Instruments Cortex-A8 high performance application processor from DM814x (DaVinci) and AM387x (Sitara) families.

Maya can operate in -40°C to + 85°C industrial temperature range and has a 204 pin SO-DIMM form factor. It offers a highly integrated peripheral set and it is extremely well suited for deployment in security systems, industrial electronics, home automation, medical and other embedded applications.
