=== AURA SOM:===
* AURA SOM high level description is here: AURA SOM is a System On Module by DAVE Embedded Systems, it is based on the  NXP i.MX93x application processor. This System On Module is designed in continuity within the NXP i.MX6 and NXP i.MX8M products from DAVE Embedded Systems. AURA SOM is compatible with those solutions providing the possibility to design flexible and scalable solutions. 15years minimum availability completes the logical requirement for reliable and long life industrial applications.
* AURA SOM is indicated for medical market, industrial market
* The AURA SOM's unique sales points are the low power configurations and the compact size
* in the following list there are the options for the part number selection:
** the part number is composed by various fields:
*** intro code
*** CPU code
*** RAM code
*** Storage code
*** Boot mode code
*** RFU
*** RFU
*** Temperature code
** the part number composition is possible requesting the codes in the above sequence. The part number then is built with the following algorythm:
*** part number = intro code + CPU code + RAM code + Storage code + Boot mode code + RFU + RFU + Temperature code
** Codes description:
*** intro code: DAU
*** CPU code: AURA SOM can mount the following CPU (or SOC) versions or options:
**** CPU code = A, Description: MIMX9352DVVxMAB which means Dual Core 1.7GHz with a Temperature (junction Temperature) between 0 and 95°C.
**** CPU code = B, Description: MIMX9352DXVxMAB which means Dual Core 1.7GHz with a Temperature (junction Temperature) between -40 and 105°C.
**** CPU code = A, Description: MIMX9351XVVxMAB which means Single Core 1.7GHz with a Temperature (junction Temperature) between -40 and 125°C
*** RAM code: AURA SOM can mount RAM in the version LPDDR4 with the following versions:
**** RAM code = 1, Description: 1 GB size
**** RAM code = 1, Description: 2GB size
*** Storage code: AURA SOM has various options for storage selecting between NOR SPI, NAND or eMMC. Following the options:
**** Storage code: 0, Description: No Storage on board
**** Storage code: 1, Description: 16MB NOR SPI, 8GB eMMC
**** Storage code: 2, Description: 256MB NAND, 8GB eMMC
**** Storage code: 3, Description: 8GB eMMC, no NAND and no NOR SPI (SD3 available)
**** Storage code: 4, Description: 256MB NAND, no eMMC (SD1 available)
**** Storage code: 5, Description: 4GB eMMC, no NAND and no NOR (SD3 available)
**** Storage code: 6, Description: 16MB NOR SPI, 4GB eMMC
*** Boot mode code: The boot modes listed here are "single boot", meaning that the Cortex-A55 is the first core to boot. Other options are available on-demand, however. DAVE Embedded Systems' team is available for additional information on this matter. If necessary, please contact [[Mailto:sales@dave.eu|sales@dave.eu]].
**** Boot mode code: 0, Description: on board NOR SPI: this option is possible only if the selected Storage code includes a NOR SPI
**** Boot mode code: 1, Description: on board eMMC: this option is possible only if the selected Storage code includes an eMMC
**** Boot mode code: 2, Description: on board SPI NAND: this option is possible only if the selected Storage code includes a NAND
**** in case of: Storage code: 0 then the Boot mode code can be 0 or
*** RFU: 0
*** RFU: 0
*** Temperature code:
**** Temperature code: C, Description: Commercial grade: suitable for 0-70°C envirronment, this code is suitable for CPU codes with temperature between 0 and 95°C
**** Temperature code: I, Description: Industrial grade: suitable for 40 - 85°C envirronment, this code is suitable for CPU codes with temperature between -40 and 105°C
**** Temperature code: A, Description: Automotive grade: suitable for 0-70°C envirronment, this code is suitable for CPU codes with temperature between -40 and 125°C

==== part number composition ====
The part number composition is possible following this procedure:
# provide a detailed description per each field
# wait for the choice
# register the choice and provide the next field options
* the sequence of fields to propose is the following:
*# intro code
*# CPU code
*# RAM code
*# Storage code
*# Boot mode code
*# RFU
*# RFU
*# Temperature code
* The part number then is built with the following algorythm:
** part number = intro code + CPU code + RAM code + Storage code + Boot mode code + RFU + RFU + Temperature code
